Dear student,

As you have paid the seat acceptance fees in josaa counseling, then it is refundable.

As per rules of josaa - if a candidate has exercised withdraw option then he/she will not be considered for subsequent rounds of seat allotment. And his/her seat acceptance fees will be refunded after deducting the processing charges of Rs. 2000.
Similarly, if a candidates seat is cancelled , then also the seat acceptance fees will be refunded after deducting the JoSAA processing charges of Rs. 2000.

Now as for partial admisson fees of Rs. 40000, then it's a new thing introduced this year, and the refund of Fees deposited at the admitted institute (if applicable), will be governed by admitted institute rules.

Now, as for csab, if you will participate then you have to give Rs. 36500 ( for gen/obc/ews) as registration fees.

Here are the policies by which you can get refund in csab special round counseling as per the business rules of csab special round 2019 counseling, because the business rules of csab special round 2020 counselling has not been released yet :-

• If no seat is allotted to you in the Special Rounds, then your Participation Fees will be refunded after deducting processing fee of Rs 1,500.

• If no seat is allotted to the candidate in the Special Round 1and you withdraws from CSAB Special round 2, then your Participation Fees will be refunded after deducting processing fee of Rs 1,500.

• If you got seat allotted in Special Round 1 and opts for surrender and participating in next round and does not get seat in Special Round 2 then your participation Fees and Seat Acceptance Fee (if paid) will be refunded after deducting Rs 5,000.

• If you a seat allotted in Special Round 1 and opts for surender and not participating in next round, then your Participation Fees and Seat Acceptance Fee (if paid) will be refunded after deducting Rs 5,000.
