Hello shiv

First of all don't be worried that you failed in maths its okay it happens and maths is not everyone's cup of tea. Now as far as admissions are concerned it depends which stream you are from, if you are from commerce background and maths was your optional subject than it doesn't matter because in some colleges they only take best of five but if the course that you are pursuing has maths as one of the main subject than it will be a problem. And if you are from science stream than you to get passed in maths than only you will get admissions .And one

more important thing the rule says that you have to pass all the subject but best of five will be taken into consideration  .

And also college's generally don't accept such application where a student has failed a subject.

So it might tough to get admission on merit basis in a management college but for law percentage doesn't matter because they take exams for that CET.

So don't worry you will get pass and will definitely get into a good college.

Best of luck.

I'm actually from science field but maths has become optional as optional subject replaces the failed one except English.
There on my marksheet maths vll be mentioned as optional subject and pass will be mentioned on my marksheet.
It will also be written (candidate is eligible for higher studies).

Yes, you are eligible. Not a problem at all.

For higher studies in whichever course you want to pursue, it's mandatory for you to pass in atleast five subjects in the class 12 standard.

But I would still recommend you to appear for the compartmental exam in Maths, so it doesn't look like a blotch on your career.
