Hi Nitesh, I appreciate your inspiration to FIGHT IAS exam. Let me inform you something - Though they demand Graduation to a candidate to fight IAS but candidate pursuing Final year of graduation is also capable of IAS exam...

Exam happens in 3 phase - Prelims, Mains and Interview. Prelims contain 2 objective paper - GS (History, polity, science & tech., environment, geography, current affair) and CSAT (Comprehension, Decision making, Maths)

Mains - Total 9 Subjective paper - Essay paper, English comprehension paper, Hindi paper, 4 GS paper, and one Optional paper containing 2 part - I & II

Final Interview - personality test

For interview - the panel contains near about 5 to 6 members. They basically start with the basic thing like about you and your interest in IAS. They judge candidate personality and their focus on current affairs, and level of confidence...

Its good to know you want to get into the Civil services. UPSC conducts the civil services exam for recruitment of IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc.

The UPSE CSE is conducted in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview for final selection.
