i want to study bsc computer science this year but what is the 1st merit list?

You should visit the official website of the college you have applied in and find the option of admission or the procedure as instructed by the applicant manual of the college. If you have applied for the college, then you can search out that in the list published is there your name or not. If your name isn't in it then you should wait for the subsequent lists and its always advisable that you should apply for multiple colleges in order to have better possibilities.
