The National Institutional Ranking Framework has ranked it 14th among engineering institutes in India in 2019, 13th overall and 6th among universities. Apart from that, the University has been ranked in the Global higher education rankings along with the IITs. So, overall it's a very good choice to opt for Chemical Engineering at the University.
