NO, it's not necessary to have computer as subject . For admission,  one should have mathematics or computer/IT as a subject . So if you had mathematics then there's no issue . You are eligible.

It doesn't matter you take any subject as your fifth papare in 12 th.



However,  taking CS aa fifth paper could help you in your studies as the subject would resemble your branch.

Hello.. NO, its not necessary to have a Computer background in your 12th.. If you are from a biology stream(PCMB) .. Both options (i.e) Engineering and Medical are open for you after 12th.. GOOD LUCK!

no, its not necessary to have Computer Science in twelth for joining CS or IT, or for that matter any other branch, yet it would give a upper hand while persuing the same. and this ain't logical either.
