Is SS required after MD in TB and chest to have a good career or Only MD is enough?
Hi aspirant,
Pursuing SS in Tb is a matter of choice. If you're really passionate, then you should do it.
SS is more difficult to pass, the PGs get a good 2–3 months off before the exams, and you dont take it for granted. You get to know a lot about the subject also.
Also its a myth that one degree is better than another, if you have a good and in depth knowledge which can catch you a good job as a professor in a college or kickstart your career, go ahead.
I would say go with your instinct, what suits you, no degree is better than other in medical field.
Hope that helps.
