* Sedimentation and filteration - in this you allow the sediments to settle down and then filter the water using filter paper or any other method.
* Evaporation and condensation - in this you allow the water to evaporate and collect it somewhere else through condensation.
* Distillation - it is a separation technique used to separate two liquids.
* Separation funnel - funnels are used to separate liquids.
