For filling seats in JoSAA counseling 1st you have to decide that in which branch you are interested and according to your interest which colleges you can get and then arrange the college according to your interest and their ranking wise after doing all these in rough start filling the choice in JoSAA counselling according to your list.

Dear student,

First of all congratulations on giving jee advanced exam by qualifying your jee mains.
Now as you have secured 8102 rank from OBC category then there is negligible chances for you to get any IIT.
But still you must participate in josaa counselling.

Now as you have qualified both the exams then you will have all the available choices in josaa counselling and you eligible for seat in all institutes.
So you can fill them all but, as per your rank your chances of getting IIT colleges are difficult, but still fill the choices in order of top college to lower colleges by keeping the private colleges at last.
For eg - select iit madras first and fill all the choices till lower iits. Use all your available choices.
And put all the government college first and after that fill point the private colleges.
