Only people in the merit list can take part in pgi counselling ? And does pgi release only one merit list for all rounds of counselling ?

Hi Aakanksha,
Merit list usually consists of the name of students who registered successfully and got their documents verified in time.
All the students whose names are in the merit list are considered for counseling and allotment process to get a seat.
After every successful registration before allotment, merit list is released which shows the number of students and their details.

I was asking about the merit list for counselling released by Pgi. They released one for first round of counselling for different categories . I wanted to know if only the candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list are eligible for all rounds of counselling . The list contained the names of candidates till rank 239 for general category .

If the merit list released is for first round then the mentioned students in the list are only eligible for first round.For further rounds more merit list will be released then
Okay , the second round of counselling is on 12 July, they haven’t released any new merit list for that till now .does that mean that they will follow the first merit list for the second round as well?
If second round of counselling is tomorrow and if new merit list is not released, then the only merit list that is been released will be used for allotment.
I checked the prospectus again , 2nd and third round are open to all above qualifying centile .
