Please tell me which trade I should choose for b-tech as further I want to fight UPSC exams??

Hello Ayush,

You can take any branch  in B.tech of your interest,it is good for you

if you take a easy branch so that  you will get also a sufficient

time for the preparation of the IAS Exam.

You can also take other graduatin degree other than Engineering

also as the qualification for IAS Exam is graduation degree from any

recognized university.

You can take any branch of your choice since in the past, engineers have cracked the examination but often chose subjects other than what they had studied during graduation. Moreover, the percentage of candidates selected with engineering subjects are very less. Engineers usually take other optional subjects.


But if you want to take an engineering subject then go for Civil or Electrical Engineering.
