Dear Prakash,

For appearing into AIIMS you need to have a very strong conceptual background in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Though the questions asked in the entrance exam are based or related to NCERT most of them are application oriented or very deep conceptual questions whose direct answer you won't find until and unless you understand the base of the subject. Hence, I would suggest you follow the NCERT thoroughly but along with that try solving some HOTS objective questions related to the subject you are studying which will give you a clear approach and direction towards your preparation. Last but not the least revise the concepts and the facts at least 3-4 times before you appear for the exam. This will help you boost up your preparation.
