Hi,

For UPSC examination your minimum eligibility criteria is a 12th pass. You will have to answer their preliminary round and then is the difficult interview round. So prepare well and answer well.

All the best

Hello ,

As your query is you want to appear for UPSC entrance examination and you want to know, whether what is the minimum education qualification to appear for the  examination. According to set and norms set by the UPSC administrative council in charge to take the examination, the minimum education qualification required to appear in the examination is a degree of graduate from any course as per  your sake of interest.

Further, if you have any query regarding the same you can let me know in the comments section below.

Based on your education qualification, you are diploma holder in mechanical, thereafter, you don't need to complete your 12th standard studies , you can definitely and easily apply for mechanical engineering. As the 3 years of diploma course, comprises of 2years of +2 education and 1 year of B.Tech education all together.
