Solution : Given: The radius of a right circular cylinder, $r$ = 7 cm
Its height, $h$ is thrice its radius = 7 × 3 = 21 cm
The curved surface area of the cylinder
$=2\pi rh$
$=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 7\times 21=924$ cm 2
Hence, the correct answer is 924 cm 2 .
