Dear aspirant,
Yes, there are fee waiver in the iiit surat . For sc/st students there is a full 100% tuition fee waiver . On the basis of family income there is also tuition fee waiver scheme.
For family income whose income is below 1L full tuition fee is waived off
For family income who income is between 1L and 5L then 2/3rd of the tuition fee is waived off.
Other than this there are various scholarships schemes provided by the government for sc/st and OBC category students. For general category there is not much scholarships schemes.
