Students while studying at IIIT Surat are eligible to apply for several national and state-level scholarships. Lok Sabha Research Fellowships: It is for scholars with an excellent academic record in their field of study. The candidates for providing Lok Sabha Research Fellowships are selected by the Loksabha Secretariat.
National Scholarship Portal: Eligible students can also avail of scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal. Candidates must belong to the economically weaker section with an annual family income of Rs. 2.5. Lakh or less to get benefitted from this scholarship. He or she must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent of the marks.
Rajasthan Government: Scholarship System: Rajasthan Government offers State Government Scholarships to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds. Eligible students of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat can also avail this scholarship.
Uttar Pradesh Government: Scholarship System: One needs to be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP) or should hold a domicile of UP to avail this scholarship. The family income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Gujarat Scholarship Portal: IIIT Surat students can also avail scholarships through Gujarat Scholarship Portal after meeting all the requirements for eligibility.
Central Sector Interest Subsidy Scheme: Under the scheme, the students can avail full interest subsidy during the moratorium period, with having any third-party guarantee or a collateral. Students with their household income not exceeding Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum, may apply.
Note: There are other state scholarships as well that students can avail like Bihar Scholarship Schemes, Madhya Pradesh Scholarship Schemes, etc.

College Infrastructure
As we are currently in SVNIT campus so we get all the facilities available in SVNIT, It has Well built Library, new Classroom complex where all classes are conducted and well equipped Computer and Electronics Lab, Sports Facilities are also good Students also Participate in inter IIIT sports competition. Also the hostel Facilities are provided by the SVNIT and Mess food is good comparable to other colleges .

IIIT Surat is currently operating from the temporary premises of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT),Surat.The students of IIIT Surat enjoy the same campus facilities as that of SVNIT and is much better than that of most IIITs.It consists of indoor badminton courts,Gymnasium,basketball and tennis courts and a huge playing field that is mostly ill-maintained.Besides this it has a huge fully air conditioned library.Hostels also do have very fast Wifi.

No, the chance of getting IIIT Surat is less as closing rank for obc category in IIIT SURAT is 9713 for Electronics and Communication Engineering .
