if you wish to do higher studies and go for the higher degree as M. Tech or MS or PhD in one of the specializations, you can choose biotechnology engineering as the course will be beneficial and can give you high income salaries in the end.

on the other hand chemical engineering has by far greater job security and opportunities, Chemical engineering is more process related, and you can have more job options,

there are a number of colleges that give admission to chemical engineering students, but the colleges that provide biotechnology are very less,

if you are willing to take chemical engineering as our course, that will be a good choice.

Chemical engineering is best scope as you know it is one of the oldest and successful field which has huge scope .Though it is tough but if you are familiar with chemical reaction, thermodynamics and mechanical operations which are highly used in Chemical industry then it will be easy for to get job with good salary .

Beside this you should go according to your interest if you have interest to study biotechnology  science which is related to living organisms, which also involves testing new medicines in animals, gene and DNA studies then you should go for this only as every field has its own opportunities and if you will train yourself according to that then you can do best in every field .
