What does unreserved ( non-local for all regions) in local/non-local status mean? Who is eligible for that quota?
Hi SRUTHI!!
As per my knowledge, Local candidate, lets say, for andhra or telangana are those who have the domicile of the respective states.! As per bifurcation understanding the students of telangana and andhra can perceive their education in any of these states. So when you apply for counselling in the state other than your domicile state you are considered a non-Local. , and seats will b allotted as per availability after filling up the local candidates.!! All the best.!!

See...If you go by definition, the state in which you have a legal permanent residence is your domicile state.
For examinations(such as NEET), each state has its own rule for its domicile. For example, for UP, you have to pass class 12th from UP or you have to own a residence in UP. For Delhi, you have to give class 12th from Delhi. For Rajasthan, You have to give both 10th and 12th from Rajasthan.
All the best.
Now say Thank you
Hello,
The category of unreserved mean that you belong to a category where there is no reservation available. Reservation is mainly available for SC, ST and Person with Disability (PwD) and in some institutes for OBC also. From this EWS was also introduced but is not applicable in all institutes.
The local unreserved means the individuals who belong to local community or to a particular state considered and also to unreserved community like General. In non-local it is individual from General category who belong to another state. It means if you are General but from Punjab and seek admission in Tamil Nadu you are non-local and unreserved, but you are from Tamil Nadu itself you are local and unreserved. For proving that you are local you should bring the nativity or domicile certificate.
