In general, both the degrees are considered to be equivalent. They just differ in Nomenclature. Both the courses are of 4 years. Students having B.E. or B.Tech are not treated differently. You may find little but difference in the syllabus of these two. Some studies say that Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) is more focused on theoretical concept, while Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is more focused on practical studies. B.Tech makes you more skill oriented while B.E. is knowledge based. But as such there is no major difference between these two regarding curriculum orpractical training or even future demand. Otherwise everything is same. Your performance matters than your degree. Both B.E. and B.Tech graduates are hired by same companies.
