IIM Amritsar has kept the CAT cut-off this year as overall percentile to be 90 for the general category, 70 percentile for OBC category, 55 percentile for SC category. 35 percentile for ST category.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT percentiles will have to participate in the Common Admission Process (CAP) including Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
For final round calculation, IIM Amritsar has given 35% weight age to PI, 40% to CAT, 15% to WAT, 5% to Work experience, 5% to academic/gender diversity.
IIM Jammu will be first shortlisting candidates on the basis of the CAT percentile cut-off which is 85 percentile for General category, 75 for OBC category, 65 percentile for SC category, 55 percentile for ST category, 55 percentile for PWD candidates.
Then candidates shortlisted will be asked to fill an expression of Interest to be further considered for the admission process.Now the candidates who clear stage-1 percentile cut-offs and who submit EOI will be considered for calculation of their composite score with weightage given as 50% to CAT score, 10% to 12th marks, 10% to graduation percentage, 20% to work experience, 5% to diversity factor, 5% to gender. And then on this basis, a merit list will be made to select students.
Offers are likely to be made in the end of month May.
