Hey Bhuvana ,

Good to know you wish to seek admission in the military medical college . I will let you know all your requirements here . For getting into the military medical college you need to qualify NEET exam . Previously , AFMC i.e. Armed forces medical college was conducting it's own entrance test , selecting candidates for the MBBS programme . From the year 2018 , the candidate are partly selected under NEET , that means after qualification of NEET , the candidates appear in ToELR ( Test of English language , comprehension , Logic and Reasoning ) .

Moving on to the number of seats . There are 130 seats of MBBS including 10 for SC/ST . Of the 130 , 105 for male candidates and 25 for female . That's where all the tough competition comes .

The course duration is of 4 1/2 years along with a compulsory internship year for all the medical cadets .

1. The Candidate has to be an Indian. Foregin nationals with Indian citizenship are allowed .

2. The candidate must be unmarried during the course

3. Medical fitness

4 . Age of the candidate must be 17 years minimum .

5 . Candidate must have passed 12th with minimal of 60% . Aggregate of PCB must not be less than 50% and in English 50% marks .

6. Candidate must have passed 10th with maths as a subject .

Other criteria for BSC students and other educational bodies are also available . If you need them , I can provide the same .

.

If you become eligible to apply , you must register and apply for AFMC on the DGHS website i.e. www.mcc.nic.in .

The results are also stated on this website .

Documents like the NEET rank card , original mark sheets of qualifying exams that is 10th and 12th are mandatory .

I hope the above information has been helpful . For any further query feel free to ask .

All the best

Thank you .
