Hello dear
I will suggest you to go for Job , no need to do post graduation in sociology. Job experience is very important in case you could not clear upsc and you should try to gain 2 years of job experience as upsc is not a guarantee so that in case you couldn't clear upsc you can easily get a job in MNC 's with the help of your job experience.
Now coming to preparation, if you are a determinate you can prepare for upsc along with job and can even clear it .
thankyou
Feel free to ask your further queries if any .

Hello daud, you should probably go for job because in that case you earn money and experience and also you would have some time at the end of the day and enough time on weekends to study for UPSC examinations. If you choose college, you might won't get time due to the tight schedule of Masters programmes and your weekends will mostly pass studying for the semester exams or completing some projects. So you won't get enough time to prepare for UPSC.

Hello Aspirant,
According to me it is better to study Masters in sociology because you want to opt for UPSC in future. Yes it will take 2years. But you'll get a whole idea about your respective subject which will surely help in appearing UPSC exam.
If you want to work with studies then you have another option. You can pursue your Masters degree form distance along with work. If you're capable to do that then only it would be the right choice.
Higher studies are always better. Now it is completely on you.
Hope it helps
All the best!
