    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is pretty good even though it is a government college. Almost all the classrooms are Air conditioned, laboratories have good equipments, library has a good collections of books, older hostels are okay but newer hostels are good. Projectors and smartboards are used to teach.

    Academics

I'm studying B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) in this college. The quality of teaching is good as compared to other universities. The curriculum is updated regularly with latest developments but a practical knowledge part is bit lacking.

    Placements

Placements are not up to the mark in agriculture universities in India. The college and professors are supportive if there are openings available for Placements. The highest package in my knowledge is from College of dairy science with 50,000 rupees per month.

    Value for Money

The value for money here is amazing. For males, the fee is 10,000 per semester or 20,000 per year. For females, the fee is 5,000 per semester or 10,000 per year. We get much more than we actually pay for.

    Campus Life

The campus is beautiful with plenty greens here and there. A walk here is like a therapy. You can go to gym, play sports, or go for long walks. The people are also supportive if you ask for help. Location is good and most things can be found within 2-4 kms from the campus. A health center is also available on the campus for emergencies.

Have a question related to Anand Agricultural University, Anand ?

Dear candidate it's great that you have completed Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, now to enter into M.Tech courses you need to apply for GATE Examination and qualify it. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high but if you prepare well you can make it. After qualifying GATE you would get 12400 rs fellowship every month during your M.Tech studies. While applying for GATE Examination, you can select M.Tech in Diary Engineering and pursue your M.Tech accordingly if you score is good.

    Good luck!!

    Dear aspirant,

Well your rank is little high you it'll be difficult for you to get a seat. However, in some colleges like viswa bharti west bengal , UBKVV west bengal, ANGRAU guntur , PJTSAU Telangana the cutoff ranks wents up to 1000+ in previous years. So you can try these colleges and others. For further details you can visit the official websites of these colleges.
