The Andhra Kesari University (AKU) was set up in the year 2022 and is a state university in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. This is a relatively young university that has established a diverse college system with a variety of programs that it presents to its clientele – the undergraduate and postgraduate students across the programme fields. AKU is permitted by the UGC and the NCTE which are the standard setting bodies of higher learning institutions and teachers training respectively. In this regard, the university has a rich and diverse face with 107 courses as part of 19 different degree programmes offered in the university. For the health of students and recreational purposes, there are both indoor and outdoor sports amenities offered by the university these include; table tennis, carom, basketball, volley ball, tennis and badminton.

The Andhra Kesari University provides a rand of courses addressing the need of different fields of study and successful professions. 107 courses offered by the institution include 19 degrees at various levels, including undergraduate and postgraduate. These include humanities, science subjects, arts and science streams, professional courses in the stream of MBA, law, education, computer science applications etc. Though specific statistics about the number of full-time, part-time, online and regular courses are not available, analysing the course structures mentioned in the university Catalog, the campus seems to place more emphasis on full-time, regular courses. Precisely, details of the overall enrolment of students and the graduation profiles are not supplied. 

Admission process for its various programs in Andhra Kesari University is well defined in the institution.
