Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Jammu offers 8 diplomas, 20 undergraduate, 36 postgraduate, and 19 doctoral-level courses. Every year university releases notifications regarding admission to various BGSBU courses on its official website; https://bgsbu.ac.in/. The BGSBU admission includes diploma, BBA, B.Ed, B.Sc, BA, B.Tech, MSc, M.Phil, MBA, MA, MCA, M.Ed, and Ph.D. programmes. Candidates need to pass the respective BGSBU entrance examinations to get admission to the various courses of the university.

CUET, CAT, JEE Main, MAT, CUET PG, and CMAT are some of the prominent entrance examinations to different courses. BGSBU admission is based on the marks obtained in the required entrance examination. The university has a fixed number of BGSBU seats available for each course, and admission is granted based on the availability of these seats.

BGSBU Diploma Admissions 2024

Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University diploma courses include civil, electrical, computer science, mechanical, and electronics engineering for a duration of 3 years. Moreover, housekeeping, front office, food and beverage services, and an advanced diploma in machine learning are also available to pursue for the duration of 1 year.

BBA	30	Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
B.Sc Nursing	-	Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognised board or equivalent. A minimum of 45% marks in the respective education is required.
BA Arabic Hons	20	Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
B.Ed	50	A bachelor's degree from a recognised university in the related discipline is required. A minimum of 45% marks is compulsory.
B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering	60	For Regular Students: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with physics, chemistry, and mathematics. At least 45% marks are required. For Lateral Entry: Candidates must have a diploma in Engineering from a recognised board. 45% marks in the diploma are required.

Candidates need to meet the required eligibility criteria first.

Academics

The University provides various undergraduate, postgraduate courses. I have studied Financial Management. The teachers are very intelligent, cooperative. They provide all helpful notes. The syllabus is upgraded . The University makes us ready for job.

Yeah good for placement.

Yeah it's good for study. I wanna go for civil services but there we get so many assignment ,in my engineering I get many assignment and projects and there are many other problems that I don't like , mainly I don't manage my time because I don't get time for my self preparation.
