Infrastructure is alright and well equipped laboraties are in function. Libraries are well formed and relevant books are available too. Classrooms and washrooms are hygienic too though canteen can be renovated well.

Academics

Veterinary medicine is a tricky subject so it needs real great teachers to help pursue it as a career choice and I am glad we have got one. The staff is exemplary and has a knack for dedication and are well qualified.

Placements

From what I get from my seniors placement policy is okay okay for the college. Few have grasped a good hold after college for the careeer though many have to wander off. I think they can improve somehow in that facet.

Value for Money

The value for money is aptly worth there as we get all the necessary information regarding our career choices and we are delivered with updated technical stances. I think every penny is well performed.

Campus Life

Campus Life is the best aspect of every college I think though the beautiful landscape over the college area is great and wonderful to see. I am experiencing the best time in the college with lots of exposure and experience.

Others

I think it's the best college to have a great learning experience and exposure in veterinary medicine as it is well equipped and informed of the contemporary times and stances. I will highly recommend this college.

entrance exam date of Skuast jammu and Kashmir

Dear Aspirant,

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST) of Jammu and kashmir offers various undergraduate and post graduate courses. The expected time for the entrance exam of SKUAST Jammu will be around third week of June 2020 for both the UG and PG courses whereas for SKUAST Kashmir will be second week of May 2020. please give me complete detail about placements and scope for bsc Hons agriculture in skuast jammu. I am a pcm student.. suggest me whether I should do bsc agriculture from skuast jammu or not?

As far as the placement after BSc goes there is no subject in BSc after which you will immediately get placed (in most cases you will have to do a Msc be it in microbiology or physics or mathematics). As far as only bsc is concerned there is a placement cell in college for namesake. Students have to wait for government job as private sectors are not good enough. Salaries are good however the job opportunities are low. Most companies which the college has shown in the brochure do not come for any placement. If you are going just by the placement then this college might not be your type but the faculty here is good and there are extra curricular activities too which can help you grow. The fees structure is also quite affordable considering that it is an agriculture college. Also there are certain sections in Banking where they hire only BSc agriculture candidates. It is your choice, which direction you want to steer your life. All the best.
