Masters in Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) in Fisheries Extension is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai.


Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates having a Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) under the 10+2+4 system are eligible to apply for admission. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks or an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 6.50 out of 10.00, 3.25 out of 5.00, or 2.60 out of 4.00 (for SC/ST candidates, 55% marks or OGPA of 6.00 out of 10.00, 3.00 out of 5.00 or 2.40 out of 4.00).

Admission Details

Candidates will be selected at the time of counseling for the award of ICAR Junior Research Fellowship and admission to State Agricultural Universities and Deemed Universities based on merit in the Entrance Examination.
