Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune has a Career Development and Placement Cell (CDPC) that assists students in their career planning, job search strategies, locating opportunities, internships, career exploration and related opportunities. The NIRF Report 2024 has been released and it's available on the IISER Pune official website. As per the IISER Pune NIRF report 2024, 14 UG students were placed with a median salary package of Rs. 8,30,800 during IISER Pune placements 2023.

IISER Pune placement cell aims for the overall development of the students and to shape their careers. The main objectives of the Career Development Centre of IISER Pune are to provide full-time job and internship on-campus opportunities to students who are seeking job opportunities and to guide students to prepare them for the world of work. Every year, IISER Pune graduates are placed in various national and multinational companies or organisations.

IISER Pune Placement Process

Step 1: The Career Development Centre sends invitations to companies for IISER Pune placements.
Step 2: Interested companies can directly contact the CDC through an email to cdc@iiserpune.ac.in
Step 3: Interested recruiting companies must fill out the JNF- Job Notification Form.
Step 4: Students must register themselves with CDC for IISER Pune placements.
Step 5: Companies taking pre-placement talks on the IISER Pune campus.
Step 6: Screening of the applicants based on their applications and resumes and list of shortlisted students being shared by the companies to the institute.
Step 7: Acceptance of offer letters by the students.

Placement was nice the student average package likes 5 LACS annually and goes upto 17 to 18 LACS annually. Yes approx 60 percent students were placed through college the at well post. The placement was nice and helpful students at the time of placement.

Placement is good and 60 to 70 percent student were placed. The package offered in this course range between 60k to 70k. Top recruiting companies are Bosch and Tata. 60 to 80% of the students get internships. The top roles offered are that of Manager and securities.

You must apply code 5 .

Code 1 is applicable to those candidates who are in class xii , appearing for board exams .

Code 2 is for those candidates who are from nios / CBSE or ICSE board . Droppers must also apply code 2.

Code 3 - Those who have passed class xii board from any recognized university university with physics, chemistry and biology.

Code 4 - Those whk have given pre medical or pre professional Examination.

Code 5 - Those who have passed first year bsc .

Code 6 Those who have passed bsc from any recognized university.

Code 7 Those who have given Examination equivalent to intermediate . Foreign candidates must also apply this code .

Hello,

According to historical tendencies, you should.

This year, it will depend on how well students perform generally and the extent to which the increase in seats has an impact (this year, 75 percent of seats shall be filled via the SCB channel). That will ultimately determine which IISER you receive.

But in my opinion, with a score of 124, you should surely get admitted to IISER Pune.
