Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the Master’s Degree in any discipline with 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled candidates). UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degrees) Regulations, 2016 and as amended from time to time will be applicable.

Admission Details

Admission to all Programmes shall be based on the merit of the students in Entrance Test of CUET.
