The christ university in bangalore is nicely built with keeping all the necessary facilities and quality education in mind to fulfill the purpose of students of getting a degree with horizon of learning at the college campus which helps in overall character development
Academics at Christ university bangalore is articulated very well and broken down into deifferent aspects of learning like not just course learning but also participation activities which increase overall confidence and helps students feel job ready and profound in their skills
Placements are good as the christ university is a main, reputed and well known college in bangalore which makes it network well connect and alumns also speaks for the quality education and work life ethics of christ students which aid in better placements
in my experience the christ college in banagalore is well built and well connected campus in the bangalore. the college has all the important facilities available in the campus and in the vicinity to make the environment study ready
Academics are very good. The education experience I had, the classes and the faculties the whole classroom learning experience in very good. This overall academic and curriculum structure is managed very well
Quality placements available at the christ. Major chunk of the students get placed well in time once the zero week of placements starts and it is only upward from there. College does have very strict schedule to maintain this
Christ has amazingly built college infrastructure with the sound campus to manage all the departments and students activities with peoper guidance and well deserved area for all academic activities. This is all with well maintained living spaces and hygiene
Academics at the Christ is good. The quality of study and the curriculum choosen for the students is well diversified for students to get the overall perspective of education cycle and get the best of knowledge with the assignments and tests like mid terms, end terms etc.
Placements are done well at the christ. Placements are given proper importance in the college as the end goal for the major part of students is to get a good paying job at the end of the term. So students as well as the college put in all their efforts to do the best.
One of the most beautiful campuses in Bangalore. A lot of greenery and beautiful buildings. It is a mix of modern infrastructure as well as a feeling of being surrounded by nature. It is located almost in the center of Bangalore and has access to the major localities of the city. Classes are all well-furnished, the library is well-resourced, and the campus is clean and safe.
Great teachers, well-equipped labs, and the projects and assignments which were given to us were also well-planned and in accordance with whatever was being taught to us. There were regular exams and quizzes to check the understanding of our subjects.
I had opted out of placements due to my plan for higher studies. A lot of the students had opted out. However, the placements were not that good, especially for undergraduate courses. The package were very low and opportunities were very limited.
Ethnic day is going to be the best day of your life:)
My experience at Christ has been the best part of my life. This is because of a lot of factors. The infrastructure and the college ambiance were a major plus point of the college. The college was spread over 35-40 acres of land and there was so much greenery all around. There were small artificial lakes sort of things inside the campus which was a surreal beauty. There was also a small bird park where there were beautiful birds including one Ostrich. Talking about the facilities, they were immense. All our classrooms were spacious and bright, perfect for studying. There were 2 huge libraries, with plenty of books for reference. I did not stay in a hostel so have no much idea about it, however, there were 2 hostels inside the campus. Talking about food, there were around 15 food stalls serving the most tasty and economical food!
The syllabus and subjects were also on point. All the professors were very friendly and supportive and gave equal attention to all the students. The class size was around 40-42, which is not a very huge class, making it a good teacher-to-student ratio. All professors were Ph.D. holders and had great knowledge in both practicals and theory.
Talking about the placements, for the B.Sc. students, they were not so good. As the majority of the students went for higher studies, placements were not that great for our batch. However, it improves as one goes for masters degree as well.
Great value for money! Definitely worth going to college!
Found the craziest and best bunch of friends on campus who have now become family.
One of the best infrastructures in Bangalore. Surrounded by lush green trees, mini lakes inside the campus, 35 acres of land, and a lot of positivity. The college is well equipped with all the latest technology, the best research facilities, and labs with all the needed instruments, be it microscopy techniques, PCR, Centrifugation etc, it's all there. The classrooms are all clean, bright, and spacious for comfortable learning. The college has around 18-20 eateries with the most tasty food. The hostel is inside the campus and is very strict and particular about the dress code and other rules and regulations like time restrictions to enter and leave from hostels.
The faculties are amazing, especially the Zoology professors. They are very chill and friendly. All hold PhD degrees and are well-versed in their subjects. The curriculum is well-planned as per the recent trends. A lot of hands-on training workshops were conducted like on stem cells, IVF etc, to make students aware of what is happening in the scientific market.
The placements were quite low in the science domain, especially right after the B.Sc degree. It improves after M.Sc. A lot of information is not disclosed by the college on placements-related queries.
The college is definitely worth going to in terms of the experience that one will gain over the duration of the course. However, as per the fee structure, the fee for one year of B.Sc. was 60,000 INR. And if it is seen as per ROI, it is quite low considering the placements.
It is one of the best campus life to go in Bangalore. There are tons of activities and flash mobs happening on the campus on literally a daily basis. You will meet the best people there who will become your best friends for life. The vibe is so full of energy that one will not even think of missing any of the lectures!
Best thing that happened to me!
The BGR campus is a small campus with a single building with two blocks. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and you will get a Wi-Fi connection upon configuration on your laptop or phone. All the floors are well-maintained and clean. The washrooms are adequate and are always kept clean. The women's washroom also has sanitary pad vending machines
Christ University's academics is one of the best in the country. It's heavily inter-disciplined and up to date with today's competitive market, no matter the subjects. The skills taught make us job-ready. Regular tests and assignments are given so you don't have time to chill and be detached from your studies.
Placement packages depend on the department you are in. Business management and engineering receive the highest packages, until 25LPA. Humanities and social sciences receive a lower package but are good enough for freshers. Placements happen for both internships and full-time. Industry experts come to the campus to share their knowledge as well.
Since it's a private university, the fees are relatively expensive but if compared to other private institutions, it's cheaper. You will get worth of every month. The faculties hail from reputed institutions and bring in their subject expertise. There are various clubs that one can join and gather co-curricular and soft skills.
Christ University is known for its strictness, rigid dress code, and high attendance bar but in return they will fulfill your college life with the campus festivals. Every event, minor or major is a student and something is happening all the time on campus. We don't have any major fests where celebrity guests are called over but the annual ethnic day compensates for all.
The infrastructure is amazing and it gives a feeling of a professional set as well as providing the right platform for expressing your thought. The infrastructure is very well maintained and updated as required.
The course does give you a almost degree understanding about how to corporate world looks and the every changing retread of the same but I feel it somewhere lacks in case of providing the oracticak experience.
The placement is decent as almost everyone gets placed after MBA. Although the ROI is something that needs to be given a higher kick as not everyone will be able to get the ROI via the placements provided.
It's decent enough as the college does provide with a lot of opportunity in case of conducting fests, seminars, research assistance etc but when it comes to the ROI of we get placed, not everyone gets the opportunity to take advantage of it.
The campus life is really amazing as everything is quite accessible from the college. Even the campus itself has a large variety of food stalls, lush green area to relax and a huge library for the bibliophile.
Christ University Central campus is known for its infrastructure. The campus is great with lush greenery around. It’s usually windy within the campus. There are a lot of facilities, I have personally not used all of them, but you can use facilities depending on your needs. A wide variety of food is available throughout campus, so you don’t have to worry about being hungry in campus.
I am a student of BA theatre studies, English and psychology. I joined the course mostly for psychology. But later I realised that Theatre studies is the father subject and most of my time was taken up by rehearsals. It gets hectic balancing rehearsals and two other major subjects. It’s good for students wanting to do theatre . There is international faculty , but the faculty could be increased. Not a lot of people are aware about the course even within the campus. The psychology courses offered are good but sometimes faculty appointed to my batch wasn’t that great. We were supposed to do only theatre internship as course requirement. We weren’t supposed to psychology internship, however you can do it outside of college on your own. I was a little disappointed with this because as it if a triple major course I expected all three subjects to be given equal importance. But the good news is now the course has become BA theatre and psychology from 2023 batch. It is a four year course where three years you study both subjects and in the final year you get to choose your major.
Placements are good. It depends a lot on the student. The student has to be well equipped and prepared. I haven’t sat for placements so I can’t speak a lot about it. But I have seen recruiters coming and students getting placed too.
My course is around 3l( 21-24 batch). I think the amount of fees they charge is fine. However it would be better if they give equal importance to all courses. This has started to happen from 2023 batch.
Campus is very happening. There are events going all the time. Due to my course, I personally couldn’t enjoy a lot of campus life , but I see other students make the best out of their times in campus.
The college has got a brilliant infrastructure in terms of the technological expansion, classroom build, Auditorium, Library, internet connection etc. and all of it are maintained well and they engange in continuous innovation.
It's a mix of best and average teachers within the campus where majority engange in very interactive classroom sessions while others stick to the conventional method. Even though the additional activities added every curriculum does help the students to improve their industry knowledge.
The placement committee of the college is very strong as the moment we start with our final year, we start getting opportunities to sit for placements and get our dream job. During my year almost 80 % of the students got placed directly via college with an average salary of 7-8 LPA.
The fees was around 65,000-70,000 and the experience that was provided in terms of both academic and co curricular exposure was worth every penny spent. You might incurr some additional cost for IVs etc but the college does make you ready for the corporate exposure.
I was in the Bannerghatta campus which is comparatively very small so the campus was not much to roam around in. But location wise, everything is quite accessible from the college.
