Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed a master's degree in the relevant stream with at least 55% marks from a recognized university followed by clearing an entrance exam and personal interview. (Finalised at the time of entrance test).
