The college had nice facilities evena at that time but still the college has improved a lot . GADVASU was not formed at that time and it was a part of punjab agricultural university . It was a very big and neat and clean campus .
The academics for by branch was average at that time . The quality of teaching was good but the teachers were not so sincere and skipped a lot of classes . Most of the work was done just before the exams .
Most of the people got placed in in the government jobs . Most of the students were placed and the rest went to foreign countries . The average salary offered was 1.2 lakh per annum at that time and the process was easy .
The college was very good at that time . The gadvasu was not formed and animul husbandry was a part of punjab agricultural university . The college is in itself a city equipped with every sport facilities which you can name .
The faculty was very experienced and intelligent even at that time and the quality of teaching was also good . Now the curriculum has been updated as per the new standards which i came to know when i visited the college recently .
The placements were good . Most of the people went into government jobs or foeign . Most people of our bach are settled in canada . I did not sit in placement as i wanted to pursue higher studies but the average package given was around 80k at that time .
My college is ranked among the top veterinary colleges in India. It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. In fact the treatment facilities were top notch as compared to other hospitals in India.
We were taught by best teachers and best doctors and surgeons of India which helped us to become better doctors to serve the animals in better way in future. Yes, the curriculum was up to date, we were taught all the best medical practices which are used not only in India but also in foreign countries.
In medical colleges, the placements are not usually as in engineering colleges, as half of the batch opts to go for masters, approx. 30% of the batch writes licensing exams for foreign counties, and only the rest of the batch go for private jobs. and to cater to those requirements of the students college provides multiple opportunities for students to choose from.
value for money is very subjective thing, everything over and above the perceived value of the benefits, opportunities, and the learnings one get from the college will be value for money for them. For me, yes, it was totally worth the money.
Our campus is huge campus, with greenery all around, with all the sports and recreational activities available.
Yes our clg has all necessary equipment n we get opportunity to use them . If possible provide more equipment to be provided . We get acquinted with large no . Of techniques which are advanced to go with the world
Teachers are really expert in their feilds. They are hard working and cooperative always there to help us . all teachers of every field . But we need to have less theory n more practical exposure. Theory syllabus must be decreased
Good no of placements in india government job are there and abroad also . Go for private clinics n veterinary officer also . And many multinational companies can collaborate with us . It has wide range of opportunities
Fees is high as comp to other states. Fees in other states is quite less as compared to fees paid here n stiphen is also quite less here which needs to be tajen care of . There should not be increment in fees every year
Outstanding exposure is there . We get exposure through youth festivals various culture n literary events are also there . The location is safe perhaps provided with security. We r best guided in bhangra n gidda
Outstanding experience in clg .excellent rating . Improvement in practical work is needed more . Only relevant subjects n topocs should be dealt . Extension from 3 rd yr should be deleted from curriculum.
Hello aspirant,
It's the same as NEET exam but concentrate more on 11th and 12th NCERT as it is the basis which mostly comes. Physics is usually simple than normal. Just focus on the basics. Time management is also important.
Thank you.
