Yes the college infrastructure is pretty good. Its campus is very large and very beautiful. It has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. It has libraries with sitting capacity for many students.
Quality of teaching is very good. Teachers are very sweet and loving. I did bachelorette in community science. It was a four year course. Its curriculum is updated. They also provide trainings and internships.
Although the staff and college campis is very good the only drawback is poor placements. Although they provide proper training and experience but there were no placements for us. There were no otside conpanies for interviews.
My course cost around 70-80k per year but it baries from degree to degree. But i got schorship also and i used to get around 24k per year. There were many scholarship available if you were eligible. Extra curricular activities were also there.
Campus life is amazing. It is in a very safe place and campus entry is laso strict. It has a very large campus and many cafes and dhaba with amzing food. It is in middle of town so very close to market, hospitals.
The university is fully equipped with labs. Library provides with lots of books . Wifi facilities is available only at few locations . Classrooms are old and maintenance is average . Quality of food is served in canteen .
We have a defined topic course content for each course . In which the recommended books are mentioned . I think the course must be more elaborated . Exams also carry some weightage in the final result .
College has approx 75 percentage placement out of the eligible students . There are MNCs and other big companies come in SLIET for recruitment like Mahindra , TCS , Wipro , Jindal , maruthi Suzuki and many more
Being a government university , the fee structure is very good , especially for biotechnology and food technology . Yes there is also scholarship for the topper of each class but most of scholarship for reservation candidate .
We have various labs in various departments of college . They are equipped with various of machineries . We work on them in our practical lecture . About sports , the facilities provided are excellent .
The infrastructure of the university is big and too good. All the facilities are available like hostel, wifi, ATM and many more. There are many eating spots like canteens and cafes. There is a library with all the essential books needed. For exploring the university you can get cycles at the entrance. The classrooms are well - ventilated.
The faculty of this university is fine. The teachers are very helpful and provide the best information of all the subjects. Practical knowledge is given to make the concepts understandable. All the knowledge is given regarding food and nutrition.
The placement in the university is not good. Only few students get placed. There is no placement cell in the university and the university staff is least interested in placements. In the last session of the course of the course you can do intership at different hospitals.
The fees of my course is 86,000 per year and the fee is value for money as the course provides vast knowledge about food and nutrition. University provides all the basic facilities.
University organises many activities like NSS camp, athletic meet, youth fest and Kissan Mela which fills students life with lots of fun. The campus is fully safe. University has a good location and has all facilities near it.
Course curriculum and course structure is very good. Youth fest is organised every year and various colleges participate in this fest. Saras mela, Kissan Mela and many other exhibitions are organised ocasionally.
