24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the College of Horticulture, Solan (Nauni) at Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni.
Graduates with an OGPA of 6.00/10.00 under course credit system or with a minimum of 60% marks in the respective degree from a recognized University or degree from a foreign University with at least ‘B’ grade or its equivalent recognized by the University.
BSc (Hons) Biotechnology/ B Tech Biotechnology 4-years programme under ICARAU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture faculty). If seats remain vacant, the candidates with BSc (Hons) Horticulture/BSc Horticulture/BSc (Hons) Forestry/B Sc Forestry 4 years programme under ICAR-AU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture faculty) will be considered on merit basis. However, if seats still remains vacant the candidates with BSc (Hons) Agriculture/BSc Agriculture 4-years programme under ICARAU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture faculty), BSc Biotechnology, BSc Medical under ICAR-AU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture faculty) or UGC recognised Universities will be considered on merit basis in the order of preference.
The basis of admission shall be merit as determined on the basis of marks secured in the Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by this University.
