36 MonthsBachelor of Science (Hons) in Food Technology is an advanced study of the techniques and activities involved in preserving, processing, and manufacturing of food. It helps students in understanding concepts such as the composition of food, develop in candidates an understanding of food’s nutritional, physicochemical, and microbiological properties, provide students an advanced insight into the different techniques related to food preservation, and also teach students concepts such as the importance of food quality, plant sanitation, food laws and regulations, and packaging in the food industry.
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with (PCM/PCB) with 70% Marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
