IACS is conducting an Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D. Programme in Chemical and Molecular Biology from the academic session 2016-2017 in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur. Various specialisations include an MSc PhD Recombinant DNA Technology, an MSc PhD Functional Materials in Biology, MSc PhD Biotransformation in Organic Chemistry, an MSc PhD Chemistry of Natural Products, an MSc PhD Cell and Developmental Biology and more. Admission into these programmes is given based on the merit of the last qualifying examination, and the interview process is followed by a JAM session (CY). IACS Kolkata admission into the MSc PhD programme is given based on the merit of the last qualification and JAM Session. IACS Kolkata admission committee decision is final in this regard. Reservation of IACS Kolkata admission seats will be as per MHRD norms. For candidates with letter grades/CGPA, the candidate should secure at least 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
