ISI Kolkata Admission Process

Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata admissions are offered to B.Stat, B.Sc (Hons), M.Stat, M.Tech, M.Sc, MS, M.Lib.I.Sc, PGD and Ph.D programmes. ISI Kolkata admission to B.Stat and M.Stat programmes is based on a written test followed by an interview.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics is jointly offered by ISI, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta. It must be noted that the students with B.Stat (Hons) degree from ISI Kolkata are offered direct admission to this programme without any selection test or interview.

ISI Kolkata admission to Master of Mathematics, MS Quantitative Economics and M.Tech is offered based on the written test(s) and interviews. GATE-qualified candidates are also eligible for ISI Kolkata M.Tech admission. Candidates with a valid GATE score may be shortlisted for a separate interview based on that score, for eventual selection through the GATE channel.

ISI Kolkata UG Admissions 2025

At the UG level, the institute offers two courses. B.Sc (Hons) and B.Stat. The duration of both these courses is three years. To get admission to Bachelor of Mathematics Hons and Bachelor of Statistics Hons, students need to sit for written test followed by an interview.

ISI Kolkata UG Admission Process 2025

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible and interested candidates are required to visit the ISI application portal and fill out the application form.
Aspirants have to appear for a written test. Each applicant takes one or two written tests, the number of written tests being fixed for each programme.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the written test.
Further, shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview.
The final merit list is prepared based on the composite score derived on the basis of students' performance in written test(s) and the interview.
Selected candidates must verify their documents and are required to pay the admission fees.

ISI Kolkata M.Tech Admission Process 2025

The first step in the ISI Kolkata admission procedure is that students must meet the eligibility criteria.
Fill out the application form by visiting the ISI application portal.
Aspirants are required to appear for a written test.
Candidates can also apply for admission via the GATE channel. This channel is available for M.Tech Cryptology and Security and M.Tech Computer Science. The candidates applying through this channel must have a valid GATE score.
Shortlisted candidates based on their GATE score will be directly called for an interview.

The faculties are good at teaching and highly qualified as well. I am studying a bachelor of Statistical data science at the college which will be the first graduating batch. The course mostly runs in online mode until there's some faculty available to take our courses along with their regular semester load as well.

For NEET 2025 counseling, the OBC-NCL certificate should generally be valid if issued within one year before the counseling date.

Since your certificate is issued on 9 February 2025, it will be valid for NEET 2025 counseling, as counseling happens later in the year (July-September).
