IIM Ahmedabad begins the selection process for admission to PGP and PGP-FABM soon after shortlisting the students. Shortlisted students then appear for the two-step process of IIM Ahmedabad.
In the first step, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of cutoff, and in the second step, candidates will appear for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
The candidate’s overall score is calculated on the basis of the candidate’s profile, performance in selection rounds, and academic records. The formula used to calculate the final composite score (FCS) is:
FCS = PIF * Normalised PI Score + AWTF * Normalised AWT Score + CATF_FCS * Normalised CAT Score + ARF_FCS * AR
Personal Interview Multiplication Factor (PIF) = 0.50
AWT Multiplication Factor (AWTF) = 0.10
CAT Score Multiplication Factor for Final Composite Score (CATF_FCS) = 0.25

Infrastructure is really great and has all the facilities that a top college should provide. All moder amenities and requirements are fulfilled and the classrooms are also equipped with modern facilities.
IIM ahmedabad is having world class infrastructure. Classrooms are very good and arrangement in class is very good for participative study and presentation. Library is very huge and having so many useful books.
The overall infrastructure of the college is good , the hostel is available for the non local students , the facilities in the hostels are also good . Good drinking water , air conditioner for the students .

Scoring a mere percentile in the CAT does not give you a guarantee to get an interview call from IIM Ahmedabad as the institute has a very complex admission process. IIM Ahmedabad gives consideration to a lot of factors while giving an interview call to candidates. These factors include CAT score, Class 10, Class 12, and Bachelor's degree marks, work experience, academic, and gender diversity. If you even score somewhere around 99 percentile in the CAT , this will not mean that you will get a confirm call from IIM Ahmedabad. However, if you belong to the reserved category, then there are good chances of receiving an interview call at less percentile. Therefore, the CAT score is not the only criteria but is one of the criteria for admission to the IIM Ahmedabad . The cutoff will depend upon various factors which will change every year.
