IGIDR Mumbai Facilities

Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai has several facilities at the campus that ensures hassle-free college life for the students. IGIDR Mumbai facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are well furnished and hostellers can avail of various facilities such as housekeeping services, Wi-Fi, a recreation hall with TV and many more. Dedicated rooms in the hostel building have been provided for disabled-friendly students.

IGIDR Mumbai has a technically equipped computer centre that uses the latest software, hardware, networking equipment, and help desk facilities. The computer centre provides internet access to the college campus. IGIDR Mumbai facilities also include a library that has a variety of books and reading materials. Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research has four classrooms and two seminar rooms, one conference hall and one auditorium that are well equipped with the necessary facilities. Other basic IGIDR Mumbai facilities include a gymnasium, sports facilities, medical-health service, canteen, Wi-Fi, IT infrastructure, swimming pool, guest house and many more.

Boys Hostel
Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai has a boys’ hostel on the campus premises. The boys’ hostel is equipped with various basic amenities for students.
Girls Hostel
IGIDR Mumbai provides a safe and comfortable stay for female students at the IGIDR Mumbai girls’ hostel. All the basic amenities are there in the hostel.
Medical/Hospital
Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai has a healthcare centre for students and employees on the campus premises. A visiting doctor is also available on working days for consultation for the benefit of people residing on campus.

How should I start my preparation for masters in economics from iit isi igidr and dse..currently I am in 1st year of Ba eco.hons BHU..And i am from PCM background and good mathematical skills

Hello Kritika,

To prepare well for your entrance examination for masters in economics from IIT/IGIDR/ISI and DSE, you must go through all the previous years question papers and brush up all your concepts thoroughly.

You should study the whole syllabus and study on regular basis as this is one of the most toughest exams to crack.

Keep practicing mock test papers and work hard to achieve your goals.

Is there any reservation criteria during admission process of IGIDR ? FEES structure category wise?

Hello!

IGIDR- Indira Gandhi institute of development research offers only MSC economics course for post graduation. It is a 2 years course.

There are no reservations for admission into msc eco for any category. The fees for the program is 16,000 INR per semester for 2 years program & all the students are required to stay in hostel. The hostel fees is 200 INR per month with water and electricity charges as per actual.

Although the need based scholarships are given to students as per the college norms.
