Bachelor of Library and Information Science is a full-time one-year undergraduate Department of Library & Information Science course and it is degree offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

This Department was inducted to the Arts Faculty of Jadavpur University in the year 1964 and till 1984, it conducted only B. Lib. and Inf. Science Course of one-year duration from 1985 onwards, the Department started a full-time Masters Degree course and B. Lib & Inf. Science is offered as an evening course of 1.5 years duration.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration with any stream or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
