It has everything which is necessary, starting from wide and large classrooms with ac, with smart boards, projectors and lift , everything is good, now we have a new campus specifically for BBA students too. But as the saying goes, there is always room for better.
Some teachers teach very good while some teachers with no prior experience and less experience don't teach that well they need assistance from students sometimes. Students are not that serious too if you ask. No such force from the management, yet no force from students towards studies too.
Average and below average companies and retail or wholesale shops come for recruitment, some reputed MNCs also come, but they offer such low salaries that it , demotivated students to apply. They don't consider much factors and they have to go to these companies, no matter the pay.
If we talk about the value for money, the infrastructure and all is good, even the competitors are not that better in that sense. The fees is around 3.5 lakhs and placements are average.
Average college with high name. Good for CSE And BTECH.
It was good when we were in old campus, now it's just a building. Nothing more than a corporate building, no cafeteria, people from certain places, tend to break mirrors in washrooms, very disappointed with this to be honest. Just ac and projectors don't make a good infrastructure.
Average at its best, no force from faculty to study , many people stay absent for most of the semesters yet somehow manage to pass everything, funny if you ask me. Teachers are good , but what can they do when the management is itself messy.
The college provides below average placement options like literally jewellery shops , sales man at small shops and all, only very few are good, so most of them just have a hard luck finding decent jobs.
Okay-ish overall.
It has all the amenities, for being a good and modern infrastructure. The only thing is the new BBA campus does not have any ground or canteen as for now, if they include a canteen or something it will be better, but yes one can find peace here.
The subjects and curriculum is quite nice and does provide us ample opportunities to learn and adapt to kind of similar situations of a real work place, students need to look at it as a place to study rather than other things.
Investing 3.5 lakhs and getting 2-3 lakhs as average package is quite appealing so yes the placement scenario is not bad. Just don't expect all the big companies to come for placement , some come and some never come near.
For this fees I think one can guarantee that it's worth it because you get the brand name along with it.
Very nice college.
The college infrastructure has everything required for a bachelors degree. From ÁC, Clean drinking water to clean rooms and clean food in the canteen when we were in the main campus, now we’ve shifted to the new campus near, College More.
Academics is very good to be honest, its good for serious students and bad for unserious students its just as bad, the faculty is very helpful and frank without scolding everyone for their doubts related to studies.
Placements for good and bright students is very good, companies like Wipro, tcs , capgemini and E&Y, small and emerging companies also come to our college for Pre placement offers. Its decent if I’m being frank.
Spending 3.5 lakhs and getting an average of 2.5-3lakhs is not at all bad.
You should definitely look at this college, better choice than other competitors.
Yes my college has all the good facilities like Ac, clean washrooms, filters, modern classrooms. But there is no canteen in the new DN-20 campus which is designated for BBA students only. So the infrastructure can be said it's good.
The studies and academic part of the college for BBA is moderate . There should be more stricter rules for academics, and the management is very slow and not so helpful when it comes to helping students.
Placements is very below average, the average package is around 2.5 lakhs and most of the college students opt for opportunities out side the college premises and don't rely on college and all, so in my opinion one should ignore this part.
Okok. Ladies washroom space is very less. There is ac in all the classrooms, so thats a good point. Aside that nothing extra or unique as a infrastructure. Aside that the classrooms feel like closed cages.
For the stream I enrolled, I find no subjects interesting or informative enough. I think we can study these subjects at home and get good marks if we know the subjects names beforehand no need to waste time by going college.
I am in BBA. The only placements that you will get is for sales . Even though its termed marketing it will be sales only. Very disappointing placements. Only 1-2 big companies come, so if you can grab the opportunities.
I will give it a 0 if possible. As i told before you can study the subjects at home and get good marks without coming to college.
You can survive these boring wasteful years only if you have good friends. ( for BBA )
No
The campus has all the amenities and facilities required to make it a good college. I would've appreciated more if it had similar classrooms for everyone, but it does provide different kind of classes to different streams. Yes , it's clean and also hygienic in my opinion.
I'm studying BBA HONS after scoring 91.3 in my class 12th boards, so if one asks me, is it totally worth it? I would say there should had been more emphasis on the academic part. Events happening every month does distract students and makes them unserious.
The college does provide ample placement opportunities but they are also average or below average at best. Only few of them can be considered very good. Btech students enjoy placements alot unlike BBA students. Average salary is hardly 2.5-3.5 lakhs.
My course costed around 3.6 lakhs, and if you ask me, it's too much for these facilities offered.
Campus life was very good, when BBA students were placed in main campus, now they are placed at a location near the main campus yet different building with no campus life whatsoever, so can't vouch for what campus life means for the future students .
Good college, if compared to competitors, try another better options if available too.
Techno India College of Technology canteen is well equipped to cater to the needs of the students. The faculty members, as well as the staff, take their meals here which are not only clean and hygienic but also economic.Techno India College of Technology is having a separate hostel for the boys and girls which is located quite nearby to the college hence the students have an easy access to the college from the hostel. Boy’s hostel is situated nearby the box bridge which is hardly 5 mins from the college and the girl’s hostel is in Kaikhali from where the college bus is available.
Teacher's are great and academic is good. Our teacher is very helpful, and anytime, in any way, they are helping students with any kind of help, And these college students are ready for the industry. The course curriculum is not really relevant to the industry, but the faculty members are trying to make students industry-ready by giving and doing projects.
The top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, L&T Infotech, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. TCS, Capgemini, and lots of companies visit for internship drives, and it's quite satisfying to see that every student gets a fair chance.
The college provides a good infrastructure, fully air-conditioned, which makes for a comfortable learning environment. The facilities are adequately equipped, providing the necessary tools for practical learning.
I've been reflecting on the academic environment at my college, and it's quite a mixed bag. Some standout teachers are definitely there who help the students whenever needed, they not only provide assistance but also have a knack for teaching which in a way makes complex topics more digestible. On the other hand, there are a few who deliver the material adequately but lack that extra spark that makes learning engaging. Overall, the faculty members are helpful who truly care about their student's success.
The college placement cell has been decent. They do organise placement drives and provide some resources like resume workshops and interview preparation sessions, the support could be more personalised. However, i believe there is room for improvement in terms of follow-ups and individual counselling to better assist students in their job search.
Yes My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We also have smart classes with smart boards and the classrooms are also well maintained. But sometimes the Ac's don't work in some rooms .
I'm studying Btech in Computer Science Engineering. The Faculty of my course are very good and help every students in help. The syllabus is also updated and includes all the recent development in the field.
The placements in our college is quiet good but some students go for higher education like dual degree or sit in placements. The process of the placements is as usual easy and pleasant. The placement cell also helps the students to train.
Hi,
Only academic wise, IEM is a slightly better option than Techno India University.
But here’s what you need to know about both the colleges -
IEM:
• The college is critical about time, you need to bw always on time for lectures and other events.
• The college has discipline, punctuality, and strictness when it comes to studies. There’s a strict dress-code in place.
• The scope and exposure during and after your btech degree is better than many colleges in West Bengal.
Techno India University is much more flexible in case of rules, and dress code. But, in my opinion Techno Main Saltlake is a much much better college than Techno India University in every aspect.
Techno India colleges arrange workshops, seminars, tech fests for hands on practise of the students.
Plus, CSE is anyday a better branch than CSE and business. So I’d suggest go for just CSE.

Dear aspirant,
First of all I would like to tell that techno india main campus, salt lake is different from techno india University. In salt lake campus the computer science branch cut off ranges from 4k -8k depending upon the specialisation branches you choose .
In techno india University there are many colleges and cut off ranges from 15k to 30k for the cse branch . However it is subjected to change as every there are new branches inserted and also depends upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
