KSOU Mysore Placements
Karnataka State Open University, Mysore placement cell handles the placement and training facilities at the college. KSOU placements cell also provides placement for its meritorious students. In 2022’s placement drive, 13 recruiting companies were invited by the KSOU Mysore College, and 421 students got placements out of 431 eligible students.
All UG and PG students are eligible to take part in the placements drive organised by the KSOU Mysore where top recruiters and companies are invited to choose eligible candidates and the placement cell works to connect the recruiters with its students for a long-term employment relationship.

The placement will be available for every student who studied well. They should have good knowledge to get selected and also they should know languages. Mainly Hindi language is considered more to get selected. The highest salary offered is about Rs. 25000 per month, the minimum is Rs. 15000 per month and the lowest is Rs. 12000 per month.

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is the first open university in India. It was established by an Act of the Karnataka Legislature on 13th October, 1993. The KSOU offers courses for all categories of people and not just for students but also for working professionals who wish to upgrade their skills or acquire new ones. What are its objectives? The objective of establishing a state-level open university is to provide opportunities to the citizens at large through higher education and training in various fields which shall be free from any form of discrimination on grounds such as caste, creed, religion, gender or social status.
BEd course is a program which helps students to complete their education in a short period of time. It is designed for those who have completed the basic education and want to get into higher level of education. BEd course offers an opportunity to students to acquire knowledge and skills that are required for them in order to become successful professionals.
KSOU, Mysore has a long and rich tradition of Open and Distance Learning (ODL). To be eligible for such course, candidate needs pass bachelors or equivalent under graduate degree. Then, he or she needs to appear in an entrance test for the admission.
