Hi,
Firstly, I am listing few things to be kept in mind while choosing a medical college-
Location- you are going to spend your 5 most precious years in that area, so choose the one which suits you and your family.
Academics- well, academis in most colleges is almost same and you have to study on your own but the colleges you have listed above have the best faculties.
Infrastructure and technological advancements- choose a clg that can provide you with good technological advancements in medical sector
Hospital- choose a clg whose hospital caters to a large number of patients. This will give you a good clinical exposure in internship and will play a major role in becoming a clinician.
Internal pg quota- MBBS is not very easy but making it to a good pg seat is all that matters!
Future opportunities- getting into a college with good alumni network will increased your chances of getting more opportunities.
Cultural barriers- prefer not to get admission into a clg with language barriers as it is an important thing in your internship years.

Secondly, I am writing few facts about each clg mentioned above other than the regular info about acads, teachers etc
VMMC - you will get delhi quota for pg. Safdarjung hospital has the largest opd so you will get excellent clinical exposure, helpful seniors, good alumni connections, good pg:ug seat ratio(sort of internal pg quota), campus is not very big but college life is amazing. No service bond after MBBS. It is the college with fastest growing rate. I have never regretted my decision of choosing VMMC.
KGMU - caters large number of patients so good clinical exposure. It has a golden era of its own with great alumni. 2 Years of rural service bond.
AIIMS Bhopal>AIIMS Rishikesh>BHU - while you will get aiims tag in the first two, three of them are central universities with internal pg quota. I have ranked them according to my priority. U will also get good amount of research opportunities.
AFMC - Excellent clg but with a very disciplined life. Choose only if u want it, but it will be a good experience on its own. You will get chance to serve in the army but make sure you go through the bond for MBBS students there. Heavy amount is forfeited if the bond is not completed.

Hi Student

Cut off for the following colleges in 2019 for OBC was:

  • KGMU - 575
  • AFMC - 571
  • AIIMS - you have to give and clear AIIMS exam as NEET score is not applicable
  • BHU - 550+

Cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So CONGRATULATIONS with these marks you are eligible for KGMU, AFMC and BHU.

Now i am providing links where you can get comparison between these colleges.

For any further query you can comment in the comment section given below.

Best Wishes

Hey,

The job which you are supposed to do after your completion of MBBS is exactly the same like any other job. You will be definitely paid as per the salary decided to be paid to you by the state government. It's not a free job . So dont worry you will definitely be paid for the work in rural area.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hey,

The Uttar Pradesh state has now enforced new rules regarding MBBS admission. According to which students studying in government medical colleges of UP will have to sign a two year bond. The bond basically states that after completion of the bond the student is required to serve the UP rural medical Center for atleast two years. Failing to do will cost the student to pay a penalty of 10 lakh rupees.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

College Infrastructure

Yes the college have a good clinical exposure which is an essential part in a medical practitioner's life. The good patient load helps us in learning skills which won't suffice just by reading books. There is a good set of equipments and devices necessary for examining the patient and being a student ut helps in learning skills ..... Finally there are adequate number of wifi connections available which are used by us for viewing video lectures.

One of the best medical colleges in UP

College Infrastructure

One of the best infrastructure you'll encounter in all the medical colleges. Does not even look like a medical college, its like a monument. Have all the facilities like library and reading room. More than 4 canteens. Very hygienic.
