King George's Medical University (KGMU) has 106 seats(UR category) for admission under 85% state quota. Any candidate willing to take admission into this medical college must have a state rank around 120-130. Considering this, the AIR should be 1600-1650 and around top 4000 ranks will be admitted through 15% AIQ seats.

Hello,

This seems a bit difficult because AIIMS is central governed body and KGMU is State governed. So AIIMS will always be first priority from the lens of medical aspirant.

I will enlist down the cutoffs of each of these one by one for the sc category undder the 15% ALL INDIA QUOTA RESERVATION -

  1. Lokmanya Tilak Medical college Mumbai - 554 marks was the cutoff last year equivalent to an AIQ rank of 22091

559 marks equivalent to an ALL INDIA QUOTA rank of 5908 was the cutoff last year for SC reserved category under 15% AIQ quota in Lady Hardinge Medical colllege, New Delhi. Having said this, cutoffs keep fluctuatting as they depend on various factors like number of aspirants, paper level difficulty, etc. So to be on the safer side, try to score 610-615 and above to confirm your seat in the college that you need.

Below is the link for knowinng the cutoff of all the medical and dental colleges of New Delhi for all the available categories...

In 2018, under All India Quota, 557 marks secured a seat in KGMC, Lucknow under SC Catgeory. That has been the cut off. Now this is 2018 cut off and we do not have 2019 data yet. Having said that, cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So if you are planning on appearing for NEET 2020 and want to secure a seat in this College, you should aim for atleast 575-600.

The MHRD has come up with a new schedule for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and NEET 2020. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion .

If this is regarding NEET, you haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, in 2019, under State Quota, the cut offs for KGMC for various Categories have been as follows:

General Category: 637

OBC: 629

SC:528

ST: 362

Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.  For a seat in this College, you need to score atleast 25-50 marks more than those mentioned against your Category. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion.

In 2019, under All India Quota, the cut off ranks and marks for the Colleges that you requested for under OBC Category have been as follows:

MAMC: 148

VMMC:357

UCMS:374

KGMU: 557-613 (Score)

IP BHU:1097

Except for KGMU, the rest of them are the ranks. So to roughly translate them for a seat in any of these Colleges, you need more than 650 even with OBC reservation. This is because cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Merging of AIIMS and JIPMER with NEET doesn't lower the cut offs. If both these colleges bring a total of 1700 seats, there are atleast 2 lakhs more students who appear for NEET every year.

To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion.

Life here sometimes can be overwhelming but overall its good

College Infrastructure

Yes the college have a good clinical exposure which is an essential part in a medical practitioner's life. The good patient load helps us in learning skills which won't suffice just by reading books. There is a good set of equipments and devices necessary for examining the patient and being a student ut helps in learning skills ..... Finally there are adequate number of wifi connections available which are used by us for viewing video lectures.

One of the best medical colleges in UP

College Infrastructure

One of the best infrastructure you'll encounter in all the medical colleges. Does not even look like a medical college, its like a monument. Have all the facilities like library and reading room. More than 4 canteens. Very hygienic.
