Master of Design [M.Des.] is a 2 years 4 semesters Masters course offered by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara with the approval of UGC. Subjects offered:- Crafts and Design, Ceramics and Glass, Moving Images, Communication Design, Accessory Design.


Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate who have passed B.Des or BVA or BA or BSc or B.Tech from a recognized Uni­versity or Diploma from a reputed in­stitute like NID, NIFT, IIT or IICD as a REGULAR student with minimum of 50 per cent of marks in aggregate only shall be eligible to apply. Candidates having degree in (12+4) & (12+3) pattern are only eligible to apply for M.DesProgramme. Candidates Having (10+3) (10+5) Degree are not eligible for M.DesProgramme. Reservation Policy shall be in accordance with the rules of the Gov­ernment of Gujarat.

Admission Details

Admission to M.Desshall be finalized on the basis of the performance of a student in the Entrance Test compris­ing of Practical Test, Written Test, Workshop and Personal Interview.
