M.Phil Biophysics at NIMHANS Bangalore Offline Course

M.Phil in Biophysics is a Full-Time 2-Years Course and it is offered by National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences Bangalore.

The course has been designed to build up the general background in the major areas of biophysics such as molecular biophysics, membrane biophysics, neuro biophysics, biophysical techniques, bioenergetics, and medical biophysics. In the second year of the course, the emphasis is given to specialization and research. The candidate will carry out a research project to be presented in the form of a dissertation. The laboratories are well equipped to conduct research on cellular and molecular aspects of the nervous system.
