SDMU, Dharwad is conducting a vast medical and allied health science course. Admission follows a highly structured process meant for the selection of the best brains and the right candidates for joining the institute. Degree-wise Admission Process
MBBS The MBBS in SDMU are taken on merit of NEET UG exams. The programme has an intake capacity of 150 seats and candidates must complete 10+2 with a subject combination like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and qualify the NEET UG exam as well.
MD/MS: SDMU has a total of 91 seats for various MD and MS programs. The number of seats include 62 for MD and 29 for MS. The admissions are granted based on NEET PG scores. Programs include Medical Lab Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Optometry, Anaesthesia Technology, Emergency and Trauma Care Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, and Medical Records Technology.
Diploma: SDMU conducts diploma courses in different medical technologies. Admission is strictly by merit and any entrance test the university designates. The process for getting admitted to the diploma course may vary.
