SDMU, Dharwad is conducting a vast medical and allied health science course. MD/MS: SDMU has a total of 91 seats for various MD and MS programs. The number of seats include 62 for MD and 29 for MS. The admissions are granted based on NEET PG scores. Candidates must possess a MBBS degree from an established university to be eligible. Some of the other specializations offered include Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, General Medicine, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

B.Sc: The university offers 7 B.Sc programs in allied health sciences with a total intake of 105 seats. The admissions are done based on merit, SDM University Entrance Test, and an interview. Programs include Medical Lab Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Optometry, Anaesthesia Technology, Emergency and Trauma Care Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, and Medical Records Technology.
