NIT Andhra Pradesh was started in academic year 2015-16. So oit hasn't yet received any remarkable ranking from NIRF. However, Careers360 has rated National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh with AAA+ grade in engineering which means good. http://www.careers360.com/university/national-institute-of-technology-andhra-pradesh

Hello,

You need to secure a minimum cut off rank to get admission in NIT, Andhra Pradesh.Have a look at the cut off in 2019 for SC category home state branch wise

  • Biotechnology: 7003
  • Chemical: 5350
  • Civil: 4644
  • CSE: 2005
  • ECE : 3915
  • ME: 3382
  • MME: 6692
  • EE: 4694

Depending on the branch you are interested in you need to secure rank.A percentile 93 or above will give you decent chances of getting seat in NIT, AP.Cut off is subjected to change depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc.

hi

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, students category, seat matrix, in nits 85% seats are reserve for domicile candidates, however since cse or ece are the most demanding stream cutoff score is high, even if more than 95 percentile score is decent to get seat in nits. you may follow the below link to know about last year closing rank,

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-andhra-pradesh

right now jee main april session exam is yet to held and if number of candidates increase this time it will have effect on your current score and rank.

you may use careers360 jee main knockout program to boost up yopur performance,

It is difficult to predict the actual cutoffs. But based on your percentile in Jee Main, your expected rank would be around 47k. Now if the number of candidates in April Session increases up ot 12,00,000, your rank will also increase. At this rank it would be difficult to get CSE in any top NITs as cse is one of the most demanded branches and the NIT seats get filled within 30,000 rank. Though going by previous years' cutoffs, you can expect North East NITs. Otherwise, you have chances through home state quota.

Hello

According to your percentile and based on the previous year's cutoff, chances are less to get admission for CSE in NIT Andhra pradesh.

You have decent chances to get other branches such as B.Tech Chemical Engineering, B.Tech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology in NIT Andhra Pradesh.

Hello,

You got 25%in JEE Mains 2020 January session . It is difficult to get a seat in NIT Andhra Pradesh as you may get a score around 20 or below as your score even though you belong to SC category . So prepare well for Jee Mains Paper2 and get a good score in it so that if you score better you would definitely get a seat in NIT Andhra Pradesh .

Hope this helps !

Hello,

Here, are some of the points for both the universities which may help you in making a good decision.

A. NIT Srinagar:

1. It has a very good placements history where the figure is 100% in some of the departments and around 90% in others.

2. The weather in NIT Srinagar is just awesome.

3. The faculty and staff is also very good. The faculties are experienced as well.

4. The college also has fests and events.

Some, negative points may be related to the weather, area and climate etc. Which may not suit everyone.

B. NIT Andhra Pradesh:

1. The faculties are trained here as well and all of them have P.hds.

2. The campus is good (but not compared to Srinagar).

3. The College also has team which takes part in several events. Also, they have events in college as well.

4. Placements are also good and are increasing year by year as the university is new as compared to other NITs.

The negative points here are also related to area and the fact that Andhra Pradesh NIT is new considerably. The faculties here may not be that much experienced as compared to other but no doubt the College is becoming better and better day by day.

Overall, you can chose for any of the colleges considering the other factors like location and climate in mind. I would suggest you for NIT Andhra Pradesh as it will be near to your home town and also looking at other related factors. The college is also new as compared to other so it will give you an advantage as well.

Hello! Hope you are doing good

Your rank according to the mentioned percentile is 86,901. Its a bit difficult to get the college with this rank. However, cutoffs are subject to variation so it may vary this year too lets hope for the best.

On top of that, you still have the april chance , give your best and prepare well. You'll definitely do good.

All the best

If you are talking about the closing ranks than it is based on the actual rank of the last candidate which got seat in that college, sometimes it happen that from home state less candidate apply that is the low rank candidate didn;t fill that choice so it may be possible but it doesn't mean that if you fill you will not get that choice.
