Both the institute are very good in terms of academics but if we analyze deeper then NIT AP is better from IIIT Pune because:

  • The Curriculum in NIT AP is better than IIIT
  • The placements in NIT AP is also better compared to that of IIIT Pune
  • The faculty members of NIT AP is more into research and as a result the exposure to the field you will get in NIT AP will be better than IIIT Pune
  • Infrastructurally both of the college are great and there are nothing to distinguish about it.

Hi aspirant below is the answer of your question;

  • NIT Sikkim - 160
  • NIT Andhra Pradesh - No ranking
  • IIIT Sricity - 80

Thank You.

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good colleges . I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
  • Placement opportunities
  • Industry Exposure

The preference order you should consider is:

  1. NIT Goa
  2. NIT Andhra Pradesh

NIT Andhra Pradesh is established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015 – 2016 whereas NIT Goa has started it's first batch in 2010-11 and has therefore established itself quite firmly over the years.

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your $ years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

Good luck, hope it helps!!

Hello,

Congratulations on getting a good rank. As I see you have shortlisted pretty good options for you and they all look very promising and career oriented.

I would suggest you to take your preference in this order:

  1. NIT Kurukshetra
  2. NIT Surat
  3. NIT Andhra Pradesh
  4. IIIT Kancheepuram
  5. University of Hyderabad

I have given this order based on:

  • NIRF Rankings of colleges
  • Infrastructure
  • Location and accessibility
  • Placement Scenarios/Opportunities

But I would also like you to consider which branch you would like to pursue as a career because Mechanical and ECE/CSE are very different domains, you can always learn parts of both in college but your core branch is what will shape your career after 4 years.

Good luck, Hope it helps!!

Dear applicant there are different factors that you should consider before taking admission, Amrita University is although a strict University but the faculties are very polite and experienced, as a fresher you can expect median salary packages of 5-9 LPA.
