Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Hello,
It is quite difficult to predict the exact cut off percentile to get seat in NIT, Andhra Pradesh this is because the cut off changes every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. Considering the previous year cut off you need to secure a rank (Category rank) under 16000 in order to get seat in a branch in NIT, Andhra Pradesh. To get such rank you need to score minimum 96 percentile or above in JEE Main. To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
Now if you consider all this above parameters then you will find that NIT Andhrapradesh is better than JNTUK. The curriculum of NIT AP is more industry oriented and the curriculum provides sufficient information to the students in order to be eligible for placements. Also the faculties in NIT's are more research oriented which is obviously a point of concern as this impose the scientific admiration among the student more prominently. The placements are better than JNTUK and compared to that in lower branches the median package is quite good. Both the colleges have good infrastructure but the dynamics in the subject combination is quite noticing. So as per this parameters and concern, I would recommend you to go for NIT AP over JNTUK.

Dear Aspirant,
NIT Andhra Pradesh:-
Placements: The college is located in South India, so there is no need to bother about placements. The main problem is, as it is the youngest of all NITs, it requires some uniqueness, which takes some time. Till now, placements are not bad. Some of the students are placed in BrahMos, L&T and some well-known companies.
Infrastructure: It is the youngest NIT, and the facilities are very advanced. They have workshops with modern equipment. Mess and canteen menu contains both South India and North Indian dishes. They have a gym facility and a big ground with all types of sports and games equipment.
Faculty: For first-year students, assistant professors teach them. When they reach the second year, highly qualified professionals teach us by using modern technology. They teach many things apart from the book by using practical examples from our day to day life.
JNTU :-
Placements: Above 87 percentage of students were placed in the placements only. The highest package was about 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 3 lacs per annum, Amazon, tech Mahindra and other local companies came for recruiting the students. 20-30 percentage of students will get the internship in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was simple awesome and good to see, their will be different blocks for different department and labs are provided for different courses differently and classrooms was good and clean. Canteen in the college was good and clean and they maintain hygiene.
Faculty: The teachers was very helpful and well qualified and very knowledgeable the quality of teaching was simple good and easy to understand to the students. The course curriculum was relevant and it makes the students ready for industry. The difficult level of exams was moderate.
